Benefits of Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the classic—the one most people picture when they think “massage.” Using medium pressure and long, flowing strokes, it works out the everyday tension that builds up in your neck, shoulders, and back. You’ll notice better circulation too, which helps flush out that post-workout soreness.

There’s also the mental side. An hour on the table does wonders for clearing your head. Most clients tell us they sleep better that night and feel less wound up for days afterward. It’s simple, effective relaxation—no gimmicks, just good hands-on therapy.

Who Should Get Swedish Massage

First time getting a massage? Start here. The pressure is comfortable, not intense, so you can actually relax instead of bracing yourself. It’s also great if you’ve had a brutal week at work and just need to decompress.

Having trouble sleeping? A lot of our clients book Swedish specifically for that. The relaxation carries over into bedtime. Really, this is the go-to for anyone who wants to feel better without getting into deep therapeutic work. Sometimes you just need to unwind.

Tips for Best Results from Swedish Massage

Show up a few minutes early so you’re not rushing in stressed. Let your therapist know where you’re holding tension—they can spend extra time on those spots. And drink water afterward; it helps with any post-massage grogginess.

Don’t eat a big meal right before—you’ll be face-down for a while. After the massage, try not to jump straight into a hectic schedule. Give yourself time to enjoy feeling relaxed. Coming in every few weeks keeps the stress from piling up again.

Combination Relaxation Massage

A balanced full-body massage combining soothing Swedish techniques with focused pressure on areas of tension. The session begins with relaxing, flowing strokes to help the body unwind, followed by deeper, targeted work on the neck, shoulders, and areas that feel tight. Perfect for guests who want both relaxation and effective tension relief in one session.

Benefits of Combination Therapy

Get the best of both worlds. You start with Swedish massage—full-body, relaxing strokes that loosen you up from head to toe. Then the pressure shifts to target the specific spots where you’re holding tension, working deeper into the neck, shoulders, and back.

The result? You’re relaxed all over, but also relieved where it counts. Swedish handles the big muscle groups while the deeper work gets into the stubborn spots. Most clients tell us this combo leaves them feeling more balanced than either technique alone.

Who Should Get Combination Massage

This is ideal if you can’t decide between relaxation and targeted pressure. Maybe you want to unwind, but you also have that persistent knot in your shoulder. The combination approach lets you have both without choosing.

First-time guests love this because it introduces different massage styles in one session. It’s also great for anyone who finds pure Swedish too light but deep tissue too intense. The blended pressure gives you a satisfying middle ground.

What to Expect

We start with Swedish—gentle, flowing strokes to get your whole body relaxed. Then we transition to deeper, more focused work on your problem areas. The pressure is adjusted based on what you’re comfortable with throughout the session.

By the end, you’ll feel that combination of calm and clear that’s hard to get any other way. Most people walk out feeling like they hit a reset button.

Thai Stretch Massage (Deep Pressure)

No oils or lotions. Thai Stretch Massage is a traditional dry massage technique that combines assisted stretching and firm, focused pressure to help release tension, improve flexibility, and restore balance. This energizing yet deeply relaxing experience is ideal for guests who enjoy stretching, deeper pressure, and a more active massage style.

Benefits of Thai Massage

Thai massage isn’t your typical lie-there-and-zone-out experience. You’ll be moved, stretched, and pressed in ways that open up your whole body. People walk out standing taller and moving easier. The stretches get into positions you’d never hit on your own at home.

It’s also surprisingly energizing. Unlike Swedish, where you might want a nap after, Thai tends to wake you up. Something about working those energy lines and getting everything moving again. The combination of pressure and stretching loosens up stiff joints and tight muscles at the same time.

Who Should Get Thai Massage

Yoga people love this—it’s like having someone do the hard stretching for you. Same goes for runners, climbers, and anyone whose body gets tight from training. If you sit at a desk all day and feel like you’re turning into a pretzel, Thai can straighten you back out.

Want a massage but hate feeling oily? Thai is done fully clothed, no lotions involved. It’s more active too, so if lying still for an hour sounds boring, you might prefer the engaged, dynamic feel of Thai work.

Tips for Best Results from Thai Massage

Wear loose, stretchy clothes—you’ll be moving around a lot. Skip the big lunch beforehand since there’s pressing involved and a full stomach isn’t comfortable. Tell your therapist about any injuries or spots to avoid.

Breathe into the stretches; it makes them work better and hurt less. Don’t be surprised if you feel energized rather than sleepy when it’s done—that’s normal. Drink plenty of water and consider coming back in a few weeks to keep building on the flexibility gains.

Deep Tissue Massage

A firm-pressure full-body massage designed to release built-up tension and deeply relax tight muscles. This massage uses slow, focused techniques to work into deeper layers of muscle, helping to ease stiffness caused by physical activity, prolonged sitting, or everyday stress. Pressure is adjusted to your comfort level for a balanced and effective experience.

Benefits of Deep Tissue Massage

This is the heavy-duty option. Deep tissue gets into the stubborn knots and chronic tension that regular massage can’t touch. If you’ve been dealing with that same tight spot in your back for months, this is what finally works on it. The therapist uses firm, focused pressure to break up the adhesions and scar tissue restricting your movement.

Fair warning: it can be intense. But that’s the point. You’re trading some discomfort during the session for real relief afterward. People with desk-job posture or old injuries notice a big difference. The deep work also helps with stress—there’s something about releasing that deep-held tension that calms the whole system.

Who Should Get Deep Tissue Treatment

Anyone with muscle pain that regular massage hasn’t fixed. Athletes who train hard and need serious recovery work. Office workers with that chronic neck-and-shoulder situation from hunching at computers all day.

Recovering from an injury? Deep tissue helps break down scar tissue and restore normal movement. Got posture problems from years of bad habits? This addresses those structural issues. If lighter massage has never quite hit the spot, deep tissue might be what your body actually needs.

Tips for Best Results

Hydrate before and after—this helps your body flush out what gets released during the work. Speak up during the session. Deep tissue should feel like productive discomfort, not unbearable pain. Your therapist can adjust.

Breathe through the intense spots instead of tensing up against them. Give yourself some easy time afterward—your body needs to process the work. One session helps, but coming back regularly is where you see the real changes add up.

Aromatherapy Relaxation Massage

A calming full-body massage designed to help you deeply relax and reset. This soothing experience combines gentle to medium pressure massage techniques with carefully selected aromatherapy oils to create a peaceful, comforting session. Perfect for guests seeking stress relief, relaxation, and a refined spa experience in Los Angeles.

Benefits of Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy massage adds another dimension to the experience. The essential oils aren’t just pleasant scents—they’re therapeutic compounds that interact with your body. Lavender calms the nervous system. Eucalyptus opens up breathing. Peppermint energizes while soothing sore muscles. Combined with skilled massage work, you get relaxation that goes deeper than touch alone.

The oils absorb through your skin during the massage, delivering their benefits long after the session ends. Many clients report better sleep, reduced anxiety, and an overall mood lift that lasts for days. It’s one of those treatments where the effects keep revealing themselves after you leave.

Who Should Get Aromatherapy Massage

Anyone dealing with stress, anxiety, or sleep issues will love this. The combination of skilled touch and therapeutic scents creates a deeply calming experience that’s hard to replicate at home. If you’re the type who lights candles and uses essential oils already, imagine that elevated to a professional level.

This is also perfect for those who want a gentle to medium-pressure massage with something extra. The aromatherapy adds a sensory layer that makes the whole experience feel more immersive and luxurious. Great for special occasions or whenever you need a complete mental and physical reset.

Tips for Best Results from Aromatherapy Massage

Let your therapist know about any scent preferences or sensitivities before the session. Some essential oils are energizing while others are deeply calming—choosing the right one enhances the experience. Avoid showering immediately after so the oils can continue absorbing and working their benefits.

Come with an open mind about the scents. Sometimes the oil your body responds to best isn’t the one you’d expect. After the session, take your time getting up and enjoy the lingering sense of calm. The aromatic benefits continue working for hours after the massage.

Hot Oil Relaxation Massage

A deeply soothing full-body massage using warm, nourishing oils to melt away tension and promote deep relaxation. The warmth of the oil enhances relaxation, leaving the body feeling balanced and refreshed. Perfect for guests seeking warmth, stress relief, and a comforting massage experience.

Benefits of Hot Oil Massage

There’s something about warm oil that takes a massage to a completely different level. The heated oil softens your muscles before the therapist even starts working on them, allowing for deeper, more effective strokes without the intensity of deep tissue. Your skin absorbs the nourishing oils while your muscles release their tension—it’s a two-for-one benefit.

The warmth itself is therapeutic. It increases blood flow to the area, helps muscles relax faster, and creates a soothing sensation that calms your nervous system. Clients consistently tell us this is one of the most comforting massage experiences we offer. You leave feeling not just relaxed but genuinely cared for.

Who Should Get Hot Oil Massage

Anyone who runs cold, has dry skin, or just loves the feeling of warmth will gravitate toward this treatment. The heated oil is especially beneficial during cooler months or for anyone who carries tension that responds better to heat than to pressure alone.

If you find regular massage too clinical, the hot oil adds a luxurious, spa-like quality that makes the experience feel special. It’s also great for people with sensitive skin—the warm oil glides smoothly without friction, making even firmer pressure feel comfortable and soothing.

Tips for Best Results from Hot Oil Massage

Wear older clothes to your appointment or bring a change—while we’re careful, the rich oils can sometimes transfer. Let your therapist know your preferred temperature—the oil should feel soothingly warm, never too hot.

After the massage, let the oil sit on your skin for a while rather than showering immediately. The nourishing properties continue to hydrate and soften your skin for hours. Drink plenty of water and enjoy the lasting warmth and relaxation.

Hot Stone Relaxation Massage

A deeply relaxing full-body massage using smooth, heated stones to gently warm the muscles and promote deep relaxation. This luxurious experience combines flowing massage techniques with the comforting heat of warm stones, helping to ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and calm the nervous system.

Benefits of Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage uses smooth, heated basalt stones placed on key points along your body. The penetrating warmth reaches deep into muscle tissue—much deeper than hands alone can achieve—without the intensity of deep pressure work. The stones radiate heat that loosens tight muscles, improves blood flow, and creates a grounding sensation that calms both body and mind.

The combination of stone heat and skilled massage techniques creates something uniquely relaxing. Many clients describe it as feeling like the tension is literally melting out of their body. It’s one of our most requested treatments for good reason—the warmth, the weight of the stones, and the flowing massage strokes create an experience that’s deeply restorative.

Who Should Get Hot Stone Massage

If you love warmth and find that heat helps your muscles relax, this is your treatment. People with chronic muscle tension, stiffness, or poor circulation benefit greatly from the penetrating heat. It’s also excellent for anyone dealing with stress or anxiety—the grounding weight and warmth of the stones have a profoundly calming effect on the nervous system.

This is a premium spa experience, making it perfect for special occasions or as a treat-yourself indulgence. Anyone seeking deep relaxation without deep pressure will appreciate how the heat does much of the therapeutic work. It’s gentle yet incredibly effective.

Tips for Best Results from Hot Stone Massage

Stay well-hydrated before your session—the heat increases circulation and your body will thank you. Let your therapist know immediately if any stone feels too hot; temperature should be deeply warming but never uncomfortable. Avoid caffeine beforehand so you can fully relax.

After the treatment, take your time getting up. The deep relaxation can leave you feeling wonderfully heavy and unhurried. Plan a quiet evening afterward to extend the benefits. Many clients find that hot stone massage improves their sleep quality for days.

Benefits of Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage addresses the specific discomforts that come with growing a baby—lower back pain, swollen legs, hip tightness, and the general aches that come from your body constantly adapting. Using gentle, pregnancy-safe techniques, we help ease these tensions while keeping both you and baby comfortable and safe.

Beyond the physical relief, prenatal massage has been shown to reduce stress hormones and boost mood. Many expectant mothers report better sleep, less anxiety, and an overall sense of well-being after sessions. The side-lying positioning with supportive pillows ensures you’re comfortable throughout—something that gets harder to find as pregnancy progresses.

Who Should Get Prenatal Massage

Any expectant mother past the first trimester (13+ weeks) with a healthy pregnancy can benefit from prenatal massage. If you’re experiencing back pain, leg cramps, swelling, or general tension from the physical demands of pregnancy, this treatment provides safe, effective relief.

Even if you’re feeling well physically, the relaxation benefits make prenatal massage valuable for mental health during pregnancy. The dedicated time to slow down, breathe, and be cared for is something many mothers-to-be describe as essential to their pregnancy wellness routine.

Safety & What to Expect

Available after the first trimester (13 weeks+). Suitable for healthy pregnancies only. Please inform us how many weeks pregnant you are at the time of booking. Our therapists are trained in pregnancy-safe techniques and avoid all contraindicated pressure points and areas.

Benefits of Focus Relief Massage

The Elation Focus Relief Massage is specifically designed to address the areas where most people carry the most tension—the head, neck, shoulders, and upper back. Using warm oil and precise pressure techniques, this targeted treatment releases tight muscles, relieves headache tension, and provides fast, effective stress relief. Many clients experience immediate improvement in range of motion and reduction in pain.

This focused approach allows your therapist to spend concentrated time on problem areas rather than dividing attention across the full body. The warm oil enhances relaxation and allows for deeper, more effective work on stubborn muscle knots. Regular Focus Relief sessions can help prevent chronic tension patterns from developing and maintain optimal neck and shoulder mobility.

Who Should Get Focus Relief Massage

This treatment is perfect for anyone who experiences frequent tension headaches, neck stiffness, or shoulder pain. Office workers, students, and anyone who spends hours looking at screens will benefit from the targeted relief. Those who carry stress in their upper body—whether from work pressure, poor posture, or repetitive movements—find significant improvement after just one session.

If you have limited time but need effective relief, the Focus Relief Massage delivers maximum benefit in a shorter session. It’s also ideal as a complement to full-body massage, allowing you to address specific problem areas between longer appointments. Anyone seeking fast, targeted relief without committing to a full treatment will appreciate this efficient, effective option.

Tips for Best Results from Focus Relief Massage

Arrive with a clear idea of which areas are bothering you most so you can communicate effectively with your therapist. Wear a shirt that’s easy to adjust or remove for access to your neck and shoulders. Mention any recent injuries or areas of particular sensitivity before the massage begins.

During the treatment, breathe deeply and try to relax the muscles your therapist is working on—tension can limit the effectiveness of the massage. After your session, be mindful of your posture and take regular breaks from screens to maintain the benefits. Consider scheduling Focus Relief sessions regularly if you have ongoing upper body tension.

Benefits of Body Scrub Massage

The Body Scrub Massage is a luxurious exfoliation treatment that transforms your skin from dull and dry to smooth, bright, and radiant. By removing dead skin cells and impurities, this treatment reveals the fresh, healthy skin beneath. The exfoliation process stimulates blood circulation and cell renewal, promoting a more youthful, vibrant appearance.

After exfoliation, your skin is primed to absorb moisture more effectively, maximizing the benefits of any moisturizers or treatments applied afterward. The body scrub also helps improve skin texture, reducing the appearance of rough patches, bumps, and uneven tone. Many clients notice their skin feels incredibly soft and looks noticeably brighter immediately after treatment.

Who Should Get Body Scrub

Anyone seeking smoother, more radiant skin will benefit from the Body Scrub Massage. It’s perfect before a massage, as exfoliated skin absorbs the therapeutic oils more effectively. Those preparing for special events—weddings, vacations, photo shoots—should consider a body scrub to ensure their skin looks and feels its absolute best.

If you struggle with dry, rough, or dull skin, regular body scrubs can make a significant difference in texture and appearance. The treatment is also excellent for those who want to maintain an even skin tone or reduce the appearance of ingrown hairs. Anyone who wants to feel pampered while achieving real skincare results will love this luxurious treatment.

Tips for Best Results from Body Scrub

Avoid shaving or waxing for 24-48 hours before your body scrub, as freshly shaved skin may be sensitive to exfoliation. Come to your appointment well-hydrated, as this helps your skin respond better to the treatment. Let your esthetician know about any areas of particular concern or sensitivity.

After your body scrub, apply moisturizer regularly to maintain the smooth, soft results. Avoid direct sun exposure and use sunscreen, as freshly exfoliated skin is more sensitive to UV rays. For best ongoing results, schedule body scrubs every 4-6 weeks, or pair with a massage for the ultimate spa experience.

Benefits of Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage Massage uses gentle, rhythmic techniques to stimulate the lymphatic system—your body’s natural waste-removal network. This specialized treatment helps move lymph fluid through the body, supporting immune function and helping reduce excess fluid and metabolic waste. The light, soothing pressure promotes deep relaxation while delivering significant therapeutic benefits.

Regular lymphatic drainage can reduce swelling and puffiness, particularly in the face, arms, and legs. The treatment supports post-surgical recovery, helps manage lymphedema, and can improve skin health and appearance. Many clients report feeling lighter, more energized, and experiencing improved overall wellness after sessions.

Who Should Get Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage is excellent for anyone seeking gentle, restorative therapy that supports whole-body wellness. Those recovering from surgery—particularly cosmetic procedures like liposuction or tummy tucks—benefit significantly from the treatment’s ability to reduce swelling and speed healing. People dealing with chronic swelling, water retention, or lymphedema find consistent relief.

If you prefer lighter pressure massage or find deep tissue work too intense, lymphatic drainage offers therapeutic benefits with a gentler approach. Those looking to support their body’s natural detox processes and reduce inflammation will appreciate this specialized treatment. Anyone seeking deep relaxation combined with tangible wellness benefits should consider lymphatic drainage.

Tips for Best Results from Lymphatic Drainage

Stay well-hydrated before and after your treatment to support your lymphatic system’s natural function. Avoid alcohol and caffeine on the day of your appointment, as these can interfere with lymphatic function. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and remove any tight jewelry before your session.

After your treatment, continue drinking plenty of water and consider light movement like walking to keep the lymph flowing. Avoid strenuous exercise immediately after the massage, allowing your body to process the treatment. For chronic conditions or post-surgical recovery, your therapist may recommend a series of sessions for optimal results.
